week #24 – @frauvogel / Ute

Who are you and where do you come from?
My Name is Ute, I’m a graduated designer, Kulturnerd, Herbergsmutter and I live in Cologne

Share your twitter account with us and tell us what you are twittering about:
My personal Account is @frauvogel and I tweet about art, design, music, and all kinds of cultural stuff.

Tell us about your creative side:
I work as a freelance web and graphic designer with a focus on corporate design. www.frau-vogel.de and part-time for a design furniture Distributor.

I’m doing a bit of art with photography and ministeck. www.ministeckiade.de www.fotokruefen.de

With two colleagues, I organize the stARTcamp Cologne, a barcamp on the intersection of art / culture and the Social Web, and other events in this field. http://startcampkoeln.wordpress.com

I’m involved in art 2.0 – cultural offensive to digital conversion, a club which grapples with digital art, netart and changes in digital culture. http://www.art-zweinull.de/

For over ten years I am a „professional amateur“ actress in a free ensemble (at the moment I pause here, however) www.buehnlein-brillant.de

What inspires you?
Anything can inspire me. But perhaps mainly good stories and watching people do what they do with passion.

Time travel: Where would you go to?
I’d love to stay here, but maybe I could have a short trip to Paris in the 1920/30ies to meet Hemingway, Gertrude Stein, Picasso, Man Ray, Luis Buñuel, etc.

Name your favorite present book:
Phew. Two of the last books that have stucked most in my mind: The Time Traveler’s Wife von Audrey Niffenegger (fantastic plot) and „Set This House in Order“ by Matt Ruff.

Which tweeter would you recommend for @createandrotate and why?
I’d like to recommend Christiane Strauss aka @illustrantin. She is an awesome illustrator who invented several illustrator personalities.
