Who are you and where do you come from?
I’m Anna Lena, I like colours, patterns, wind and water, love the Beach Boys and right now I live in Berlin and Oslo.

Tell us about your creative side:
I’m a late bloomer when it comes to creativity – I didn’t think I had any in me until I was 26. Now I feel that it’s mostly in my hands and my brain. The connection between those two is my creativity highway.
What inspires you?
Nerds – people who have a passion for what they do. Rulebreakers and gamechangers for testing the limits and inventing new things.
Honed skills inspire me (crafts like signpainting), as well as courage, intelligence and irony. I’m always up for a mean laugh.
Time travel: Where would you go to?
I’m pretty happy in the here and now. If I were to go anywhere I wouldn’t want to know where I’d end up. I like surprises :)
Name your favorite present book:
My sketchbook. I start a new one about every three months. It’s my second brain and I love the anticipation I feel before filling up the blank pages.
Which tweeter would you recommend for @createandrotate and why?
I’d love for my good friend Lisa (http://lisarienermann.com/) to start twittering because I love her approach on how to explain the world with everyday objects.
We recently did a project explaining the us election with burgers (http://bindersfullofburgers.tumblr.com/). Maybe I’ll get her a twitter account for christmas and can convince her of starting.
